Background
Bob Alberti has been employed by Born Consulting
since April, 1997. He worked for Network Systems Corporation from 1994 to 1996 establishing their Intranet and Internet World-Wide Web
services. From 1991 through 1994 he worked at the University of
Minnesota department of Distributed Computer Services, where he co-authored the
Internet
Gopher protocol
(RFC 1436).
During the 1980's he ran a computer timesharing service called
GamBit MultiSystems, Inc., which offered low-cost dialup e-mail,
interactive chat, and interactive adventure role-playing games,
and was a predecessor to modern Internet services.
